Our Founder, Dr. Charlie Rouse

Jan. 11, 1948-Aug. 13, 2024

Dr. Charlie Rouse, affectionately known as “The Medicine Man,” was a proud Albany, GA native and Killeen High School Class of ’66 graduate, earned his RPh degree from the University of Georgia School of Pharmacy in 1971.

Dr. Charlie was more than just a pharmacist, naturopathic doctor, and pastor at Liberty Baptist Church for over 34 years; he was a beacon of love, kindness, and faith. His infectious smile and motto, “do no harm,” were reflections of his deep belief and love for the Lord. Whether serving as a mentor, friend, or family member, he embodied Christ’s teachings and touched countless lives.

In addition to his pastoral and pharmaceutical work, Dr. Charlie was actively involved with the Gideons Ministry, served as a chaplain and counselor at Anchorage Addiction Treatment Center, and shared his expertise on various media platforms, including Town & Country. He also made significant contributions to the world of nutraceuticals, formulating products and teaching natural health alternatives globally.

Dr. Charlie's legacy lives on through his many accomplishments and the profound impact he made on all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered.

He causes the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth.
— Psalm 104:14
